Here is a video of the Trotec FP-100 flatbed fiber laser marking hard anodized aluminum with a rather large mark.

One advantage of a flatbed fiber laser, like the Trotec FP-100 "YAG" laser, is that the entire 12" x 24" bed can be loaded up with parts and marked as the operator walks away and works on another system in your facility.

The FP 300 version provides a 17" x 28.5" mark/engrave/cut area and comes in 3 power levels (10 Watt, 20 Watt and 30 Watt).
