TherMark Laser Marking Material

As a representative for TherMark, Integrity Equipment Sales & Service provides local expertise on the CerMark and TherMark laser marking materials.

Everyone with a laser marking system knows that some materials are just not markable, or are not markable with the laser you known. The TherMark product is the solution in these situations.

Using TherMark and CerMark along with your laser marking system -- be it CO2 or "YAG" -- will more often than not result in high image quality, high-contrast, permanent images.

TherMark/CerMark do not wear off and are not susceptible to corrosion.

TherMark/CerMark allows the marking of such material as bare glass, bare aluminum, nylon with dark, easy to read images.

TherMark/CerMark is available in various formulations that allow the material to be sprayed, screen printed or brushed onto the surface prior to marking. A TherMark tape is also available.

Why use TherMark or CerMark on materials that can be marked directly with a  YAG laser?

TherMark or CerMark Versus Direct YAG Mark

  • Better UV resistance

  • Less chance of corrosion

  • Improved viewing from all angles

  • No significant deformation of thin steel due to heat

  • Faster mark times for dark marks

  • Much wider process window

 Versus Chem Etch

  • Easier to do over a wide area

  • No custom tooling or masks

  • Environmentally easier (Chem etch often classifies the customer as a “metal finisher” meaning that they have to adhere to stricter sewage regulations)

  • Variable data

  • Less manual handling
